About Us
Basement Innovations, Inc. of Fort Collins, Colorado, was established in 1999 by Joseph Schlauer. He oversees the corporation and maintains a standard of excellence and service that has built a remodeling business based on repeat customers and referrals.
Our professional associations include membership in the:

- Northern Colorado Home Builders Association Remodelers Council

The Northern Colorado Remodelers Council is a group of local construction contractors who share best business practices and are continually sharing improvement strategies to better our industry. Joseph Schlauer also serves on the editorial board.
In 2009, he authored an article titled “Basement Finishes: Creating More Room for Living“ in the Fort Collins Coloradoan Newspaper.
